Lands and Peoples Ghosts
I have been waiting for this album, and this song in particular to drop for what seems like forever. Lands and Peoples are positioned to be THE breakout act of 2012. The first single off their incredibly infectious and appropriately titled LP Pop Guilt is just how Bmore describes it below. A slow burner, that at only 3:20 long, is the briefest heartache you will ever encounter, but will haunt you for years to come.

“Ghosts” is a slow burner with harmonies so fluid, you’ll find your ears happily lost somewhere between the two singer’s voices. Beau Cole and Caleb Moore have a way of making a rather ugly and unwelcome emotion like angst feel quite beautiful and comforting. The song’s louder moment cries, “stoned and impatient, slow admiration,” words that would normally depict a darker instance.
