I’ve been a fan of Portland natives, Nurses for a couple years now. Glad to see people are starting to dig their sing songy 60’s era do-wop infused brand of noisy pop rock.
Have yet to see them live, but plan on catching their LA show on September 28th. Nurses is on tour with Dominant Legs (meh, not that awesome) now. See dates and peep their latest video for their track “Fever Dreams” below.

Sun Airway Wild Palms Video
Sun Airway is one of those bands that’s not just about twinkling reverb and fuzzy vocals, but really cares about the atmospheric vibe surrounding their tunes. From their album covers to live performances and videos, their aesthetic is one that incorporates sounds and visuals to create a feeling that will envelope you from head to toe.
Sun Airway’s video for “Wild Palms,” is no exception. A lovely three minute escape from the mundane monstrosities of the work week. Wild Palms the latest single off the band’s 7” Wild Palms b/w Symphony in White, No. 2 out via Dead Oceans.
The video was directed by Ricardo Rivera premiered on MTV’s The Hive today.
